5 Exercises to Strengthen Your Hips
Gluteal strength is an essential part of general hip health. Increasing gluteal muscular strength and endurance with hip exercises may help with hip pain, enhance stability and improve overall lower limb function.
Here are 5 hip exercises, demonstrated by Dr Dylan that we use in the clinic with our patients, that challenge the glutes to develop muscular strength and endurance:
- Clam shells with resistance band
- Glute bridges with resisted hip abduction
- Fire hydrants with resistance band
- Plank with hip extension
- Single leg partial squat
