What is Spinal Manipulation?
Most people associate chiropractic with spinal manipulation/spinal adjustments/back cracking. Although chiropractors provide a variety of treatment options, spinal manipulation has been shown to be effective in the treatment of spinal pain. Spinal manipulation involves the chiropractor applying a fast but low amplitude thrust into a restricted joint, resulting in improvement in the joints range of motion and pain levels. Manipulation is generally painless, but does often result in an audible pop sound.
